On behalf of the staff and administration, thank you for choosing Oilfields High School as your school of choice to continue your education!

 We are looking forward to the beginning of the 2010/2011 school year.  The new school year will be an exciting one, with many opportunities for students to get involved in our school community.  The staff at Oilfields School is here to assist with a smooth transition into the school year. 

 If you are returning to Oilfields, we are delighted to have you back with us; if you are new to our school, we extend a special welcome to you to our vibrant and exciting school community.

School Opening

Monday August 23 to Wednesday August 25

The main office will be open from 8:30 to 4:00 for new registrations and timetable change requests

Thursday August 26, Friday August 27, Monday August 30

The school will be closed for division wide Professional Development

Tuesday August 31

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for grades 7's, 8's and 9's

Special "getting to know you" activities planned wear or bring clothing that can dirty!

Wednesday September 1

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR GRADES 10's 11's and 12's

(2^nd day for grade 7/8/9)

ATHLETIC INVOLVEMENT- Fall athletics begin right away! Please watch for information regarding tryouts for fall athletics. 

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE Oilfields High School is now
PEANUT AND NUT FREE!

It has come to our attention that several students in the school have severe allergies or medical problems. As a result we will make every attempt to minimize the risk of a serious incident occurring. In support of these children, we have made our school a nut restricted environment. This means that we request all parents refrain from sending nut or peanut products in their children's lunches. The school understands that this may cause some inconvenience when preparing lunch. However, in consideration of the severe nature of these allergies, we seek your cooperation in making the school a safe environment for all children. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in the matter.
