To our Oilfields School community,

An individual associated with Oilfields School who received a COVID-19 positive test result, has now been confirmed as having a COVID-19 variant of concern (VOC).

It is important to note that this is the same case we notified you about on March 31, 2021 – NOT an additional case in relation to our school.

Foothills School Division has provided AHS with a list of all close contacts associated with this case.  Public Health will be following up with all identified individuals to provide additional information on testing recommendations and quarantine requirements.  More information on COVID-19 variants can be found at: alberta.ca/covid-19-variants.aspx

We truly appreciate the ongoing support of the entire Oilfields School community and staff team as we continue to navigate these uncertain times together.  We remain committed to ensuring you have timely and accurate information that allows you to make informed decisions for your family.

As always, please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you once again for partnering with us in your child's education.
